All new...
Belém, December, 25th 2012.
Christmas. After two years I'm blogging again. It's a long time. Cleaning up things i remembered i had a blog entitled with my name. I thought of deleting it, but I reassessed and decided not to do it. However, i couldn't edit some settings and after a couple of days i gave up and decided to delete it anyway. I lost patience... lol; Despite this, the changes i wanted to do in the deleted one i decided to mantain as purposes for this new one. They are:
1) New web address: It was sanclayveraraujo.blogspot.com. I must confess that I thought it was cool in the beginning, but later i thought it too restrict. I wanted to share my ideas with many people. I wanted a different name, something incendiary and that at the same time, remind me and my ideals. Suddenly i remembered of an expression in God's scripture I like very much: "Leaven in the dough"... I decide to write it in english although the blog is either in portuguese or in english, but the main reason is that there was no availability of the name in portuguese in the blog website. Then, we have leaveninthedough.blogspot.com
2) New focus: My first blog was like a diary which I started to write at the time of my graduation in 2006. Soon I realized it wasn't updated, and that doing it the way i intended was impossible. So I forgave myself for failing in this purpose of keeping it updated and restart it. With the failing of the editing of the old blog, I had to restart it anyway. For this new moment of the blog, now named "Leaven in the Dough", I want to share not only my personal experiencesm but also my impressions and opinions about our world.
3) New motivation: I wanted before, as every youth using social medias, a blog as a trend with no practical aim. Although I'm still in my twenties and consequently I'm still young, I can say I matured in many aspects and my social medias are following up this changing. Then, the blog that had once an informative role, has now a performative one. How? I believe so much in the protagonism every single person has and need to find find it out and develop. The blog is named "Leaven in the Dough" because a small amount of yeast leaven all flour. This way, the blog, FB, twitter are tools to fulfill my role of being yeast in the flour that is the world wide web, its users and consequently the world we live, whose range is unknown for anybody, and through reflection generates concerns, provokes, instigates people to find out that they are also yeast to cause an endless cycle
I hope you enjoy! Like it, share it, opine it, criticize it! The blog is ours!
